Pitching a Tent
SNL has historically proved way slow on the uptake regarding the poke of the finger at residency restriction laws.
Yet, it took less than a week for baby bro--Thursday's SNL: Weekend Update to zap Julia Tuttle's cousin, Atlanta's Tent City.
Pick it up towards the end of the segment, around 17:30.
For those persons deemed sex offenders who are unable to locate housing due to residency restrictions, state probation officers have directed these now homeless offenders into the woods outside Atlanta.
And although SNL and this nation's citizens appear to finally have caught the satirical ha ha regarding residency restrictions, the not so funny punch line is that human beings are being directed to live beneath bridges and in tents by state officials as we speak due to residency restrictions forcing persons deemed sex offenders from housing available in their community of choice.
As long as this continues, the joke is really on us all.

On another note.
John Couey--a man responsible for so much misery for so many people--died from cancer earlier this week. Convicted and imprisoned on Florida's Death Row for the murder of Jessica Lunsford, this horrific crime was used by politicians here in this state and throughout this nation as a catalyst for the passage of Draconian sex offender lawmaking.
Time to move forward.

Sunny, there's a series starting called :the rise of the bounty hunter.
How long do you suppose it will be before probation officers dispatch bounty hunters into the woods off cobb ga. to hunt down and 'bring in' or 'accidentally dispatch or dispose' errant sex offenders who may have done no more than piss in a bush OR piss someone OFF.
Not only are former sex offenders being sent out into the woods, in the everglades, under bridges, and in rest stops but then if some nit wit news person or someone else gets a bug up their butt about them being there and maybe (gasp) clustering, then out they go. There used to be some form of laws in this land that you could count on. Some things that you could safetly say "no something like that could never happen" but not anymore.
The DOJ can PLACE people not only in the woods but also in established, well run, long existing ministries and SLA's and if a neighbor again gets a bug up their butt, not long after a park is within the restricted distance and a group of former offenders who were getting their lives back together and those who helped with that are out on the street. I thought residency restrictions pissed me off the most of all things, now it is the purposful closing of SLA's for simple NIMBY reason. Makes me want to just shake people :) and tell them to get a clue.

I've told sunny in the past, I feel certain that I have enough proof that these people have FRAMED PEOPLE to get them on the SRO RSO standing room only registered sexual offenders list.
If we got the money up and got an atty to run that through court. The thing is that the ACLU should have smarter people on staff than lowly ME. HOWEVER, if they are beating about the trees and not seeing the forest we must look askance upon them.
It's pointless to attack this sidebar of activities just as it's pointless to attack the 'certain provisions' of the 'patriot' act.
Cutting off the heads of the hydra does NOTHING. Must MURDER the hydra itself. In this case: REPEAL the 'patriot' act. REPEAL whatever acts led to this which was basically the bikers/gop/scum sending one scruffy asshole around the country to cry alligator tears and get those under control who didn't join the biker gangs and start slinging meth. That's that.
